Missions and Community Outreach
Methow Valley United Methodists support missions work globally through UMCOR, Jamaa Letu Orphanages, and the Peniel Orphanage in Democratic Republic of Congo. We are active throughout our community and support many local organizations, from Methow at Home and The Cove to Jamie’s Place, the Methow Valley Interpretive Center, and the Methow Valley Community Center.

Helping Children Attend School
These are the children of Peniel House, with Mama Chansa (founder) and Baba Francois (teacher and secretary), right, and Mama Rebecca, left. $200 a year is all it takes to send a child to school. If you would like to sponsor a child at Peniel, contact Wayne and Linda Mendro.
