Understanding the Liturgical Calendar

What is Lent? What about Pentecost, Advent, Epiphany, and "Ordinary Time"? We'll take the weeks leading up to Easter to learn about the church year: the seasons, the symbols, the colors, and why we observe them. Whether you grew up in a liturgical church or are totally new to the whole idea, this group is for you. We'll ask questions, learn about the church calendar, and consider how it can help us grow in our relationship with God.
